Due to a significant water supply issue on site, St Bede’s Catholic School and Byron Sixth Form will be closed on Friday 20 March. Although the issue has been assessed by Durham County Council, the team required to complete the repair will not be available until tomorrow. As we cannot guarantee a safe and reliable water supply, it is not possible to open the school safely.
To support learning during the closure, staff will set work for all lessons on Microsoft Teams. Pupils are asked to complete this work in their homework books; these will be checked when they return to school.
