Date: Tuesday 17th & Wednesday 18th March
Location: Newcastle Reform Synagogue

As part of Component 3 of GCSE Religious Studies, Year 11 pupils will visit the Newcastle Reform Synagogue. This visit is designed to deepen their understanding of the key features of a synagogue and its role in Jewish worship and community life.

During the visit, pupils will:

  • Explore the main features of the synagogue.
  • Hear directly from local worshippers about their experiences and practices.
  • Gain valuable insights to support their GCSE studies.

This is a fantastic opportunity for students to see their classroom learning come to life and to engage with members of the Jewish community.
